The company, formerly Northern Dynamic Inc, was renamed Energent Incorporated in 2007 to reflect the company's new strategic direction to provide energy-intensive facilities in North America with highly-effective energy information solutions for reducing their energy costs.

Our EnergentEMIS and EnergentET solutions are the culmination of seven (7) years spent researching energy management systems and both developing and implementing related applications for our clients. It reflects the practical experience we've gained from applying energy management tools and techniques to real-life customer requirements.

Our EnergentDR demand response solution was implemented in response to the demand response opportunities offered by the Ontario Power Authority (OPA). Our clients have gained significant benefit from their participation in demand response opportunities.

In developing our technology platform our goal was to create a convenient, affordable energy information solution - one that enables clients to leverage the convenience and cost benefits of internet-based technology and apply these benefits to improve their bottom line.
