Waterloo-based Energent selected for 10 Ontario Universities!

Utility Energy Database and Benchmarking Software (UEDBS) will encompass over 200 buildings

February 3, 2014 - On January 15, 2014, McMaster University, on behalf of 10 leading Ontario universities, announced the selection of Energent’s energy management information system to be commissioned for all 10 institutions - McMaster, Carleton, Ottawa, Waterloo, Trent, Queens, Lakehead, Brock, Laurentian and Windsor.

This was conveyed at the recent Energy Matters Summit held in Toronto on May 6th and 7th. The Chairman of Energent, Dr. Gerry Sullivan, participated in the panel session addressing the technological requirements for a smarter and more robust grid system. The panel was chaired by Carole Champion, the Director of Industrial Engagement and Sector Lead for Energy and Environment at the Ontario Centers of Excellence.

EMIS Technology Leader Continues to Expand in BC!

Waterloo, ON.  January 30, 2013 – Energent is pleased to announce their selection as an EMIS solution for the FortisBC EnerTracker program. In this innovative program, FortisBC natural gas customers in the Commercial sector with automated metering[1] can sign up for the EnerTracker program, and utilize an Energy Management Information System (EMIS) solution from Energent, at no cost to them for up to 3 years.

Energent has recently been working on a national roll out of their Energy Management platform for H&M Canada. This roll out includes all 59 H&M stores coast to coast, and will provide H&M with real-time energy management and reporting capabilities to comply with global sustainability initiatives.
