Energent has been invited to participate in a ground breaking roundtable to be held at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario. The Centre for Urban Energy (CUE) has been formed to lead the conversation about a customer-focused solution for managing energy bills. This grassroots focus on the demand side of the energy equation can change the way the market looks at conservation and incentive programs.

On Tuesday June 26th, 2012, Energent's very own Craig Haney, our Director of Marketing, will be speaking at one of Sustainable Waterloo Regions final educational sessions for the 2011-2012 event year. The event is focusing on the outcomes of the RIO+20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development. Attendees are going to understand how these international discussions apply to local organization, and learn about some of the sustainable industries and employment trends emerging because of the efforts of Waterloo Region's green economy. 

Sean Conway who is the chair of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Center of Excellence describes Energents project with Wilfred Laurier University which was one of the three recipients of OCE's Special Energy Fund.

On May 28th and 29th, Energent will once again attend Peel Region's Energy Matters Summit in Mississauga, ON. This conference and trades show is quickly building a reputation as the one energy show that both public and private sector energy experts must attend in the greater Toronto area. Energent will be presenting our Real Time Energy Management Platform during the conference. This presentation will be a case study on how Energent used our platform to save over $100,000 for one of our clients.
