Energent solutions leverage an Internet-based technology platform for the automated collection, analysis, and reporting of your energy information.
Information is collected from your meters and sub-meters, transmitted to Energent via a secure Internet connection, analyzed by our proprietary data analysis and reporting software, then delivered to your desktop via a secure account on our web-portal.
You can access your energy information 24/7 from any location with a web-browser. This gives you unrestricted access to your energy data and the ability to do something about it - anytime, anywhere. You can review and analyze your information, discuss results with on-site staff, initiate immediate action to avert costs, or take other timely actions. Here's how our platform works:
Energent’s Utility Data Link (UDL) data collection devices are installed at your facility to collect, store, and automatically forward your energy data, via the Internet, to our Operations Data Centre.
The UDL devices are purpose-built for easy integration and seamless operation with central utility control systems, building automation systems and individual pieces of equipment.
Energy use data is collected from gross-metering devices and sub-metering devices at 5 or 15-minute intervals. Continuous monitoring gives you constant visibility into your shifting energy usage patterns.
Energy data is received at Energent’s Operations Data Centre (ODC), run through the data analysis and reporting software (i.e. Energent's modeling engine), and sent to your account via Energent’s Web-based information portal.
Upon login to your web-portal account, the Energent dashboard is the primary reporting interface you encounter. The Energent Dashboard is a flexible, easy-to-use tool for monitoring and sharing information, generating reports about your energy performance, and performing further analysis to probe unusual occurrences of energy consumption.
